Dark hardwood floors can be stained to be as dark as espresso or even black. And well, let's just say, sanding down those wood floors completely, seemed like an overwhelming, daunting task. You might stain the whole floor dark enough that it would hide the stain, but that would be a decision that would change the whole complexion of your home.
Can i just restain with another coat?
You can rent an industrial sized sander from most home maintenance stores. A qualified floor finisher can do it relativly inexpensively. The house is like eight years old and i want to know if there's anything i can do to bring it back to its natural color. Would you take on this hardwood floor project?
