Does Vinyl Plank Flooring Need Padding. I'm about to buy some vinyl plank flooring with pvc backing to install myself. I prefer no padding under vinyl plank flooring, but some people will put a very think pad/vapor barrier underneath.

None that i have installed require moisture barrier for use on a slab. Prices can increase from there if you choose a luxury vinyl tile or if you need a lot of prep work done to get. It is not easy to give a definitive price in regards to the cost but in general you can expect them to cost roughly $6 per square foot including installation.
